Great news, the Eco-council and school have successfully become the proud winners of the prestigious GREEN FLAG award.
This award is only achieved after schools can show over a period of time, how they have been working as an eco-school. We had to complete a very detailed application form and then we were visited yesterday by an eco-school assessor. She was very impressed with our work and thought our children were a credit to the school.
We also had a successful day on Thursday when we became runners-up in the Eco-caterpillar awards. The children performed their play brilliantly and were deserved runners-up. We won £350, which the children will be able to spend next year through the eco-council.
