Nursery

Welcome to our Nursery Page!

Here, you will find all the information about what your child will be learning throughout the year.

We will also share updates and highlights on Class Dojo as we progress through the school year. Our goal is to create a nurturing and dynamic learning environment where every pupil can thrive.

We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for pupil success, and we look forward to working together to make this year a memorable and productive one. Thank you for your support and involvement. Let's make this year great!

Nursery Charges (2025/2026):

All children can get 15 or 30 hours of free nursery education each week, depending on your situation.

If parents are entitled to 30 free hours they must obtain their ‘validity code’ from HMRC and give this to school. Parents validity must be checked every 3 months by parents themselves. This is not checked by school.

If your child gets 15 hours, you can ask for extra sessions if there’s space. These cost £15 per day (2025–2026 rate). Please note: we charge for every day of the term, and there aren’t any refunds if your child is off for any reason.

If your child has a full-time place, there’s an extra £4.50 charge per day to cover the additional time above the 30 hours entitlement, to bring in-line with the school day timings. Please send your child with a packed lunch, if they are staying for lunch. Children get free milk and fruit during morning and afternoon snack times.

A school meal can be purchased via our meal ordering system at via cost of £2.90 per day.

Invoices are sent out each half term and are payable in advance.

Nursery 2025 - Prospective Parent / Carer visits. The following dates are available to be booked via the school office: Tuesday 15th October 2024 @ 2pm and Tuesday 26th November 2024 @ 2pm

Useful resource to support potty and toilet training        GoTime by Andrex – Make potty training fun!

The GoTime app is an interactive book designed for pre-school kids as young as 3 yrs old to make potty training more fun. The kid becomes the teacher as they show Bunny and the Andrex puppy the steps involved in going to the bathroom. You start with Bunny having some yummy food & juice and then off you go on a toilet adventure! Your child will learn about using a step, removing their clothes, having a wee or poo, wiping until they are clean, flushing the toilet and washing their hands!
